Internship Program

Elebaires internships vary from one to six months.  Each of the internships are specially selected with the individual student in mind.  All of our internships are unpaid, but all qualify for college credit. 
We look for the most suitable internship to your situation, starting with your area and level of study, your professional goals, your interests, and of course, your work experience.

We suggest all our internship programs be supported by a Customized Spanish Course.  Though we look for bilingual environments, it is important for the intern to communicate and operate in the Spanish language.  The internships are a main part of our Spanish Experience Program which we invite you to visit in our main section.

Eligibility: All students who are enrolled in an Elebaires Spanish course for two weeks are eligible for placement.

Spanish level: Interns must have an intermediate Spanish level.

Time commitment: The minimum time commitment for an internship placement is 4 weeks for at least 4 hours per day.

How placement works:  Internship placements are matched as closely as possible to the students’ individual interests. Once students submit their enrollment form, Elebaires begins the process of finding high quality placements for interested students.
At the time of enrollment, Elebaires will provide students with information about the variety of organizations students can possibly intern with. Once the student has filled out the appropiate Internship Program documentation, Elebaires will arrange an interview and coordinate the internship.
